Let me ask you something: if your pastor told you not to wear panties to church would you listen to him?
I really try not to concern myself with people’s worshipping practice because I don’t want or need anyone trying to convert me to their branch of religion. I’m crossing the line today though because I cannot believe that people are so phenomenally gullible.
It’s bad enough that Black people actually buy into the whole baby Jesus thing to begin with, happily enslaving themselves to a religion handed down to them by massa. The fact that some are willing to allow themselves to be guided by their pastors without question is mind-bending.
Take the female flock of Lord’s Propeller Redemption church in Kenya for instance; their pastor Reverend Njohi has banned them from wearing underwear to church. That’s right no panties, no bra. The Rev claims that people need to be free in ‘body’ and ‘spirit’ to receive Christ when attending church.
According to the Kenyan Daily Post, he has threatened dire consequences if his flock secretly wear underwear to church. Did his flock protest? Did they refuse to attend church? Hell no, according to a church member the ladies rocked up to the Sunday service naked underneath just as the pastor ordered. Did Jesus die on the cross so that sheeple could be taken advantage of in this way?
The Kenyan Daily Post asks “What is really happening to our pastors?” That’s not the right question. The better question is what is wrong with people? Are some people so afraid to be expelled from their church that they would go along with something so crazy? I know they are referred to as flock but seriously, stop with the sheepish behaviour.
If thine church offend you, find another one.
